Aid & Attendance Explained:
Aid & Attendance is a monthly supplemental pension that provides financial assistance to veterans and their surviving spouses who need help with daily activities.
This pension can also cover monthly expenses for short- and long-term care facilities, as well as household, health, medical, and other related expenses.
This monthly pension offers $1,500 - $2,200 per month in additional income, supplementing Social Security, pensions, or disability benefits, helping to offset costs for health and wellness needs.
To qualify for the Aid & Attendance benefit, you must currently receive a VA pension and meet at least one of the following criteria:

You require assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, eating, or dressing.

You reside in a long-term care facility due to a disability that limits your mental or physical abilities.

You have significant vision impairment.
The Veterans A&A Pension is Not a Government Handout.
